Cheap flights from Paris

Paris is served by three airports in different directions from the city. Charles de Gaulle (CDG) to the northeast is France's main international hub, handling over 67 million passengers in peak years, and the point of origin for most intercontinental and transatlantic fares. Orly (ORY) to the south handles domestic, North African, and a focused set of European routes — on overlapping short-haul pairs, Orly frequently undercuts CDG by €20-50 on the same travel date because its carrier mix is weighted toward Transavia, easyJet, and Vueling rather than Air France. Paris Beauvais (BVA) 80 km north of the centre is the ultra-budget option used predominantly by Ryanair — viable if you're willing to factor in 1.5 hours of ground transfer each way. For short-haul to Spain, Italy, or North Africa, always compare CDG and ORY before committing to an airport; the price difference can be significant enough to justify the extra transfer distance. The RER B connects CDG to central Paris in 35 minutes; Orlyval connects ORY to the RER B in about the same.
