Cheap flights from Palma de Mallorca

Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is one of Europe's busiest holiday airports, handling over 30 million passengers in peak years across more than 100 direct routes from across the continent. Ryanair, easyJet, Vueling, and TUI all operate large bases here, and the density of carrier competition means PMI fares fluctuate less than comparable Mediterranean leisure airports — with four carriers fighting for the same travellers on most Northern European routes, prices rarely spike as dramatically as at less competitive island airports. That said, July-August fares are still 40-60% higher than April, May, October, and November, which is when Mallorca delivers the best value. The airport is 9 km east of Palma city centre. Beyond the beach resorts, the UNESCO-listed Serra de Tramuntana in the northwest — used as a training base by professional cycling teams — and the stone village of Deià offer a very different side of the island.
